Sermon Notes

In the Gates of Hell, we explore The Gate of Worship and Jesus’ declaration in Matthew 16:13–18 at Caesarea Philippi, a place known for spiritual darkness. Standing before what many called the “gates of hell,” Jesus declared victory and revealed that the Church would advance. The central question remains: “Who do you say that I am?” Because who you worship changes everything.

This message unpacks what true worship really is. Worship is not about style, preference, or music trends. It is about knowing God intimately and responding to Him with awe, abandon, and intimacy. From the woman at the well to King David’s uninhibited praise, Scripture shows that God is seeking true worshipers who worship in spirit and truth. Worship is not just the songs we sing. It is the life we surrender.
