  • Some things only Jesus can do.
  • Prayer matters.

2. Jesus Sees the Overlooked

  • Jairus was important and respected.
  • The woman was unnamed and rejected.
  • Both mattered to Jesus.

3. Faith Presses Through

  • She had suffered for 12 years, but then she heard about Jesus.
  • She pushed through fear, shame, disappointment, and the crowd.
  • Don’t let anything keep you from Jesus.

4. Jesus Restores More Than Your Issue

  • She came for healing.
  • Jesus called her “Daughter.”
  • Your issue does not define your identity. Jesus does.

5. God’s Delay Is Not God’s Denial

  • While Jesus stopped for the woman, Jairus’s daughter died.
  • Jesus told him: “Do not fear, only believe.”
  • Fear says it’s over. Faith says Jesus is still here.

6. Jesus Gets the Last Word

  • Jesus took the girl’s hand and told her to arise.
  • Death had to let go.
  • It’s not over until Jesus says it’s over.
