Commonly Asked Questions:
When can I check in?
Check in starts at 8:30am every morning. The service starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m.
What does my child need to bring to VBS?
Water bottle, swimsuit, flip flops or swim shoes, towel, bag for wet clothes, and clean clothes All materials brought from home should be labeled with child's full name! Please do not send child to VBS with electronics, valuables, breakables, cash, or any item that cannot be replaced. Because we spend a great deal of time outdoors, it's a good idea to apply sunscreen each morning.
What measures are taken to ensure the safety of our children?
All adult volunteers are required to have a cleared background check and complete an online ministry safe training prior to serving during the week of Summer Surge.
What about my child with allergies?
Your child’s care and well-being is our number one care during their week of Summer Surge. Please be sure to list all allergies on the registration form for your child. We will not provide any snacks that have nuts. You are also welcome to provide your own snacks for your child if that is your preference.
What if I have other questions?
If you have additional questions, please email Pastor John Martin at firstname.lastname@example.org with any other questions you may have.
