Sermon Notes

In this message,  from Luke 7:36–50, we explore the connection between grace, forgiveness, and genuine worship. When a woman known for her sin enters Simon the Pharisee’s home and pours perfume on Jesus’ feet, Simon sees her past while Jesus sees her faith. Through the story of two debtors, Jesus reveals how our awareness of God’s grace shapes the depth of our worship. This message challenges us to move beyond simply being around Jesus and into a life of gratitude, repentance, surrender, and obedience. You don’t have to clean yourself up before coming to Jesus. Bring Him your shame, your past, your pain, and your alabaster jar. Discover what it means to receive His forgiveness and walk in peace.
